A Night of Metal with Trivium, Heaven Shall Burn & Malevolance

I’m pretty sure that this was my first gig of 2023 and, if it was (and I can’t really be bothered checking), then it was a cracking way to start as the Trivium, Heaven Shall Burn and Malevolence triple package rolled into one of my favourite venues in Manchester, Victoria Warehouse.

Nights like this are made all the more exciting by knowing that, as you walk into the venue, you’re about to check out three bands who are very much at the top of their game. Malevolance have been slaying audiences across the UK for a while now. Heaven Shall Burn are a band who haven’t ventured to the UK in a while but always deliver while the headliners are a band who just smash out anthem after anthem.

The only downer was finding out that Florida swamp creatures Obituary had joined the tour for the rest of Europe but you can’t win them all. Have a read of my thoughts and more pictures from the show here and below are some of my favourites from the night.
